ABOUT BILL MARTINEZ
Founder, Father, Problem Solver, Creative Thinker
My name is Bill — born and raised right here in San Antonio. I’m a father, a family man, and someone who believes deeply in the potential each person possess.
I’ve always had a passion for design, construction, and helping people feel at home — in every sense of the word. That passion started in high school when a drafting teacher saw something in me and invited me to a job site. From that moment forward, I was hooked. Since then, I’ve spent 27 years in the architectural design industry, helping design homes, schools, hospitals, and custom spaces across Texas.
What sets me apart isn’t just experience — it’s what I’ve done with it.
I’ve been part of thousands of design projects, served as a construction administrator overseeing seven figure projects, and renovated top-to-bottom home renovations. I act as the bridge between homeowner, crew, and trades. Projects like that remind me: this is what I love to do.
WHY I STARTED ALAMO OUTDOOR LIVING
Contracting has a reputation problem. Too many homeowners have been burned by no-shows, poor communication, overcharges, or just plain sloppy work. I started Alamo Outdoor Living to stand in that gap — to be the contractor people can count on.
Where others cut corners, I commit. Where others are vague, I’m crystal clear. Where others disappear, I show up — consistently, professionally, and with a plan.
I’m not just building patios, fences, decks, roofs, or pavers. I’m building spaces where memories happen — birthday parties, quiet coffee mornings, backyard BBQs, or just a place where your kids would rather be outside than in.
