At Alamo Outdoor Living, we believe in more than just beautiful builds — we believe in serving people. That’s why we created Projects With Purpose, an initiative dedicated to helping single senior women in San Antonio who are unable to afford or complete urgent exterior repairs and upgrades.
Many of our neighbors — particularly elderly women living alone — are unable to maintain their properties due to limited mobility, income, or resources. Unsafe stairs, broken fences, overgrown trees, and neglected outdoor spaces are more than an eyesore — they’re a risk to safety and quality of life. We step in to restore dignity, safety, and pride.
Every 10 paid client projects fund 1 Joy Build. Clients who hire Alamo Outdoor Living help directly fund our community service builds. We also invite customers to opt into the mission:
– Add a small donation to their contract
– Nominate someone in need
– Volunteer on build days
A Joy Build is a 100% sponsored exterior project completed for a deserving senior woman in our community. It may include:
– Fence repairs
– Deck or stair restoration
– Yard clearing or tree trimming
– Roof repairs
– Gutter cleanup or simple hardscape fixes
Each Joy Build is shared with permission to show what’s possible when businesses serve with purpose.
